Ten Sushi in Queen Anne Hits the Spot

Just found out about this hole in the wall kaiten-zushi ie. “conveyor belt” restaurant in Queen Anne that really knows what they are doing. I had the great pleasure to meet Chef Shinichiro who has traveled all over the world and managed Genki Sushi for 20+ years. Make sure to go check it out.

Theo Chocolate and Fremont Whiskey Distillery Tasting Event with Google+ Local in Seattle

Today, I had the opportunity to work with the amazing, Theo Chocolate and Fremont Mischief Whiskey in Fremont, Seattle. These guys sure know how to make some fine chocolate and whiskey. As the Google+ Local and Zagat Community Manager, I rallied up 20 lucky reviewers in Seattle for an evening of chocolate and whiskey tasting, a tour of the Theo Chocolate factory and a hands-on session of making chocolate brittle. What a night! See photos below.  Submit a review of Theo Chocolate on Google+ Local and rate their quality, appeal and service.

Seattle’s Great Wheel is Scheduled to Open on June 29th

The Seattle Great Wheel will add a beautiful 175 feet tall and 200 feet ferris wheel on Seattle’s Pier 57, reminiscent of the London Eye. The grand opening is scheduled for June 29th, 2012. I’m very excited for this new Seattle attraction to open in Seattle as it will increase our global tourism and economy in the local area. Plus, the views on this ride will be amazing.

A Unique Spin on the Classic Hot Dog — Tokyo Dog Food Truck

Last month, I got to try out the new buzz around town, Tokyo Dog, Japanese style hot dogs and fries.  Growing up eating asian food everyday, I had to try this, especially because of these two things: I love hot dogs and I love  Japanese food.  The hot dog I tried out was the signature Tokyo Dog, a smoked cheese bratwurst with Japanese mayo, furikake, tonkatsu sauce, grilled onions, bacon bits, and seaweed sprinkled on top.  Overall, it was quite tasty.
